Ahoy! Thanks to everyone for participating in this year's unprecedented 2020/21 DraftKings Fantasy season. Despite all of the hiccups that COVID brought with game postponements and players suddenly becoming unavailable, we did pretty well as a league.
Congratulations to Paul for winning this year's championship. He did it in record-breaking fashion by setting new benchmarks in Total Standings Points (131) and Total Points Scored with 2,484.40. That's an average of 146.14 points a week! Not surprising that Paul won two weeks, but also finished second-place five times, and third-place twice. Altogether, Paul finished in the Top Three nine times in the season's 17 weeks.
In Week 17, we witnessed the highest-scoring week in league history with an average score of 163.20 points. Tim set a new single-week record with 224.78 points, just edging Ashlee, who had 219.04 points. These are now the two highest outputs in a single week since starting this league. Only fitting that they finished so close in the end, with Ashlee finishing second overall by one point over Tim.
Kim won the most weeks this season with three victories total, which also ties the season-record since expanding to 11 teams.
Finally, we have a new Toliet Trophy "winner." Coming down to the final week, Tom found a way to finish ahead of Rick to avoid getting the porcelain. Maybe the Toliet Trophy will make a great addition to the new baby's nursery?
Trophies and medals will be presented later in January during a virtual presentation as we won't watch the Super Bowl together in-person. I wish everyone the best of luck during the Postseason Challenge.
